Chocolate Sponge Cake! (recipe)

wait…. okay thanks for stopping! this will be quick! Okay sooo…..
the pictures are not the best… fine. BUT, this recipe is a very useful recipe to have in your recipe arsenal! You have to trust me on this one! :)~ here is why….
This recipe is great because it can be used as the base cake recipe for:
- Tiramisu’s (as seen here)
- Tres Leche’s
- Baked Alaska’s
- as a ‘side’ for just about any Ice cream
- very good recipe to add alcohol to! example: if you make a trifle or tiramisu you can add coffee, rum, port wine DIRECTLY to the sponge cake (just a lil for flavor)
- fantastic to eat with fresh fruits (fresh or preserved/marmalades)
This recipe has endless possibilities and uses… in other words SAVE IT :D
